Business Cooperative Education Program
What is Co-op?
Co-op is more than a summer job or internship. Co-op combines learning in the classroom with learning on the job. As a student in the Co-op program, you complete 12 months of full-time career-related work in combination with your BCom coursework and receive a specialized Cooperative Education degree parchment.
Why Co-op?
- Earn while you learn - Co-op positions are paid with an average salary of $3600 per month.
- Co-op grads have a consistently higher salary and employment rate after graduation.
- Approximately 50% of Co-op students receive permanent offers from one of their Co-op employers.
- Opportunity to test drive different employers, jobs, and industries.
- One-on-one support from your assigned coordinator.
- Access to a robust resource hub and dedicated Co-op job board.
