Overview

Fudan University, located in Shanghai, is one of China's oldest and most selective universities. It is a member of the C9 League, Universitas 21, and the Association of Pacific Rim Universities (APRU) and comprises four campuses: Handan, Fenglin, Zhangjiang, and Jiangwan.

Fudan University has 17 schools, 69 departments, 70 bachelor's degree programs, 243 master's degree programs, 35 disciplines, and 154 sub-disciplines authorized to confer Ph.D. degrees. Fudan University enrolls over 30,000 full-time students, including over 3,000 international students.

Students who are Canadian citizens applying for this program are encouraged to apply for funding through the Canada Learning Initiative in China (CLIC) program.

Program Information

Language of Instruction: English

FISS The 4-week summer session offers about 35 content courses taught in English and 3 Chinese Language courses at different levels. Students can take up to 6 content credits. 

Activities, such as a campus tour, exploring Shanghai, a Huangpu River Cruise, Company Visits, Chinese Dragon & Lion Dance, Chinese Calligraphy, etc., will also be arranged for students to experience Chinese culture and the wonders of Shanghai. 

Please note that students are responsible for confirming transfer credit to their program. This is done after a student has been selected and nominated for a program. Some courses have been pre-evaluated, but you still must confirm with your faculty about transfer credit.
